Where our Blue Lotus thrives
In the pristine Puttalam region of northwest Sri Lanka, the blossoms of our Lotus Awakenings grow in clear, nutrient-rich lakes – far removed from industrial agriculture, following the natural rhythms of nature. There, they are lovingly harvested by hand by a small family cooperative. Around thirty people dedicate themselves daily to this delicate task – each blossom is picked individually and carefully dried. Using minimal heat, they are gently dehydrated for many hours to preserve their natural color, texture, and subtle fragrance. Each blossom embodies this precious interplay of solar warmth, water purity, and meticulous handcraft – making it a true gift of nature.
